I provide teletherapy services for clients in Colorado, Kansas, Iowa, Washington, DC, Virginia, and Washington State, and in-person services for clients in Colorado.
As a counseling psychologist, I derive a deep satisfaction from my work with a wide variety of people and concerns. I provide individual and couples psychotherapy, with special emphases on relationship and career issues. Many people also find that my career coaching services help them to find a career that suits their interests and skills--whether preparing for college or making a mid-life career transition.
Before returning to my home state of Colorado, I had a private practice in Washington, DC for 5 years, where I gained significant experience working with those in the tech, legal, government, and private sectors. Another of my favorite groups to work with is college students and recent graduates. I was a professor for 8 years and thus have a unique perspective on the faculty side as well as personal side of this exciting, yet stressful time. Finally, I specialize in pregnancy and perinatal mental health, and how these issues intersect for parents seeking work-life balance. As the parent of two young children, I am intimately aware of the challenges that mothers in particular face.
I am also a dynamic and skilled facilitator with over a decade of teaching experience. I'm available to serve as a consultant for employee education, and I currently train therapists and psychiatry residents in psychotherapy.
